Finished In Canada

All of your questions, answered here! And if not just contact us and we'll do our best to help you out!

Do you allow returns?

If you are unhappy with the hats that you approved we cannot offer refunds as these are custom made products specific to you. However if the final product does not meet our standards or was completed incorrectly based on the proof that you approved we may be able to help. We review any returns/refunds, and replacement orders on a case-by-case basis.

Do you charge tax?

We must charge sales tax on all orders that ship within Canada.

I live outside of Canada, what will my duties and other import fees be?

Unfortunately we don't know. As duties, taxes, brokerage, etc. vary from country to country we don't really have an easy way to figure that out. All duties and other fees associated with importing product is the sole responsibility of the customer.

I already have blank hats, can I supply them for you to add a patch?

In most cases yes. However since the blanks are supplied to us and are purchased outside of our supply chain we will be unable to repair or replace customer supplied goods for any reason.

Will my patch be hand sewn or heat pressed onto my hat? What is the difference?

Currently all of our patch offerings are applied using a commercial grade adhesive and heat press.

I don't see the hat brand, style, colour, etc. that I am looking for, can you get it for me?

The products listed on our website are just a small handful of popular products. If you're looking for something specific and don't see it on our website let us know! If you have the brand and style number that would be great, if you have a picture we ca work from that as well! We have suppliers in Canada and the USA that carry a very wide range of styles outside of what is shown here on our website.

Can I pick more than one hat style or colour for my design?

Absolutely. We just ask that you order a minimum of 12 of each hat.

How much is shipping?

That depends on the size of your order. Most of our shipments are sent via FedEx as it is the most cost effective and quickest option for us. If you're looking so save a few bucks and are willing to sacrifice a few days of shipping let us know and we can ship Canada Post instead.

What is your turnaround time?

Standard turnaround time is typically about 4 weeks.

Do you offer rush services?

Typically no, but feel free to ask and we will see if there's any possibility of expediting your order. The issue with rush orders is that the process of creating patches can be quite time consuming and labour intensive, which is where the majority of the production time is consumed. Once the patches are ready we try to get through your order as quickly as we can in order to get you your hats in as timely of a manner as possible. There typically isn't much wiggle room on the patch production side of things to make things happen any faster, but like we said feel free to ask and we'll see if there is any chance!

What file types do you accept?

We prefer that any artwork be sent in vector format, these file types include Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), Portable Document Format (.pdf). If these file types are not available we can also accept some high resolution raster files including Joint Photographic Experts Group (.jpeg or .jpg), Portable Graphic Format (.png), Adobe Photoshop (.psd).

What does finished in Canada mean?

As much as we would love for our products to be 100% Canadian it is a pretty difficult thing to achieve. For the most part, all of the large hat brands manufacture their products overseas. Many companies will have their patches created over seas as well because it is often much more cost effective, however we work with a great company to manufacture all of our embroidered and twill patches for us right here in Canada. With that said some of our other patch styles are made either in the USA or overseas. All of our patches are applied to their hats in house (aka in Canada), whether that be by sewing or by heat application.
